Bristol Hospice relies on volunteers to provide an array of support services to patients and their families. Some examples of typical volunteer duties are: provide comfort and support, provide respite for patient's caregivers, run errands or doing light household tasks, record patient memories or complete special projects, read aloud, play music or enjoy a sunny day.
We participate in the We Honor Veterans Program and encourage Veterans to apply.
We also encourage individuals to volunteer who are bilingual as we have an increased need in the Portuguese and Spanish speaking population.
