Mission Statement
The mission of We Survive, Inc. is to improve the lives of impoverished children and their families through providing Day of Hope day camps and other educational opportunities fueled by LIGHTFEST Re-ignited.
Description
LIGHTFEST Re-ignited is a movement to raise awareness and educate communities about the issues the impoverished face and raise funds to sponsor impoverished children so they can attend a Day of Hope* camp and help change lives.
Goals for each Day of Hope are:
- Providing health, financial and wellness education
- Teaching a philosophy that positive attitudes can overcome adversity
- Fostering positive peer and intergenerational connections
- Discovering ways to explore and appreciate nature - nurturance in nature.
