We Need Your Help!

In support of canine training, the Transportation Security Administration at Fort Myers International Airport (RSW) is in need of volunteer (decoys). Volunteers will serve as mock passengers for canine training.
In order to participate in this activity, volunteers must be 18 years or old, complete an on-site Decoy Safety Briefing as well as read and sign a Passenger Screening Canine Decoy Safety Briefing Consent form.
Decoys are needed on an on-going basis, and volunteers can be added to a rotating roster.

3-4 hours are required for the training, with time slots starting as early as 5:00 a.m. and running as late as 3:00 p.m.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the TSA K9 Trainer Elijah Matthews at 239-219-4910 directly or by email at elijah.matthews@tsa.dhs.gov for a list of available training dates and times. Once your date and time slot has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the final information including free parking information and dress attire for your on-site visit.
