Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides a special type of healthcare to those suffering from a life-limiting illness. Friendly visitors, at least 18 years old, are urgently needed to provide friendly visits. You can help someone if you can talk, play music, read, or simply hold a hand!
Visits are typically 1-2 hours once a week based on your schedule and within a manageable commute. Orientation is free of charge. For more information, contact Hospice.Volunteer@HMHN.org.

Our longevity reflects our excellent and sensitive care for patients including Veterans and individuals of diverse orientations, backgrounds, financial status and diagnoses. A member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, we are a not-for-profit organization which serves patients who reside in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union Counties. The time and talent that volunteers give helps Hackensack Meridian Hospice provide compassionate and quality care to our patients and families.
