Overview:

Glee Church is looking for passionate individuals to join our band. Every weekend, our church is led by talented and committed musicians who create an impactful and connecting worship experience. This opportunity is for talented individuals seeking to learn and grow as professional musicians.

The Work:

• Guitarists are scheduled approximately 2-3 times per month on a designated band team on Sundays.
• Additional commitments on Sundays to help serve the church.
• Weekly rehearsals and training; Tuesdays and Wednesdays afternoon.
• Training includes platform presence, worship preparation as a band member, music theory, and ear training.
• The time commitment on an assigned Sunday is approximately 4 hours. Total commitment, including individual rehearsal time during the week is about 6 hours.

Commitment:

We require a minimum commitment of at least 6 during the week for consideration.

The Schedule for this role is as follows;

*Tuesday (1st Month): 7-8PM- Band Training

*Tuesday: 8:00pm to 9:00pm (Rehearsal)

*Sundays 8:40am to 12:30pm

Requirements:

• Have a passion for Jesus!
• Must have the ability to walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, and jump; singers at Glee Church are trained to help create a "concert" style of worship. (Get ready to sing & move)
• Have a good attitude, good appearance, and participate as a member of the team.
