Come volunteer at the Delridge Farmers Market! We have a variety of activities available for all ages and mobility levels. From set up and tear down to packing free produce bags, liasing with customers, assisting with food assistance program enrollment, and everything in between. We offer delicious breakfast for all our volunteers from one of our Kenyan chef partners!
The Delridge Farmers Market features vendors of color from cultures across the globe bringing fresh, local, relevant food and goods to the Delridge community. We also bring in a variety of community organizations providing essential social, health, education and other services. This is an entirely non-profit enterprise - we take no cut of sales from our vendors and rely on the generous support of volunteers to assist with our operations.
The market offers variety of food assistance programming including free local produce grab and go bags, youth grocery vouchers, SNAP/WIC/FMNP and much more to ensure free, healthy options are available for all in need. Market Match and Fresh Bucks are also available to double or triple SNAP benefits.

REQUIREMENTS
- If possible, we ask our volunteers to commit to a 3.5 hour shift either in the morning or afternoon. The biggest need is for set-up and tear-down (8:30-10, 2-3:30) - about 5 volunteers. 3-4 volunteers during market to assist customers would be great!
