African Community Housing & Development seeks STEM professionals of color to serve as mentors in our upcoming after-school STEM program for African Diaspora middle schoolers! Mentors will help pairs of students design, implement, and present a science fair experiment.

Led by visionary women of color, African Community Housing & Development (ACHD) provides culturally-relevant, holistic wraparound social services, education programs, and economic development opportunities by and for the African Diaspora immigrant and refugee community in King County.

- Mentorship responsibilities will occur from Oct-Dec 2022. Volunteers will need to commit to attend program sessions from 4pm-6pm in SeaTac on Oct 4, Oct 12 or 13, and Dec 6, as well as virtual orientation and virtual student meetings as-needed.
