Do you have a passion for empowering the next generation of female leaders? We are currently looking for Volunteer Mentors to assist us with our virtual program, PBG Academy, starting next month through June 2022!
**Please note that this volunteer role is for increments of one hour per week during school days (Monday through Friday) between the hours of 10am and 6pm PST depending on the assigned group(s).**
As a PBG Volunteer Mentor, you will play an integral part in Pretty Brown Girl, allowing you the opportunity to work closely with our Facilitators and gain experience with mentoring Black and Brown girls. Volunteer Mentors will assist our Facilitators in the following areas;
- Managing virtual class sessions including classroom arrivals (early or late arrivals), breakout sessions, tech support, etc. for your assigned group(s)
- Supporting the Facilitator who will deliver the PBG curriculum to meet the desired learning objectives
- Providing any additional support to our Facilitator and participants
- Offering insights and learning by serving as an additional voice to the participants
As a special thank you, you will receive a signature PBG T-Shirt and gift at the end of the program.

- All applicants must have experience working with Black and Brown girls. Ideal candidates are those who can relate to girls (K-12) by identifying current culture (music, trends, etc.) and have familiarity with operating Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
