The Utah Refugee Center is urgently seeking Childcare Volunteers for our English as a Second Language Class. Volunteers will be responsible for watching the children of Refugee Students attending class. ESLC takes place Mondays through Fridays from 9:30am-1:30pm and is an ongoing course. Childcare will take place at the center and all necessities and entertainment supplies are provided.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit at least one day weekly, and are still filling gaps for Tuesday through Thursdays. This volunteer opportunity will not begin until all days are covered, so we are anticipating this program will not start for a few weeks to a month.
If you are interested or would like more information please reach out to Kristen Schau at kschau@utah.gov or (385) 483-9731.
