The Somerville Winter Farmers Market (SWFM), managed by the Center for Arts at the Armory is looking for someone to take the lead on SWFM's marketing strategy and outreach while being guided by a staff member. This involves:
-Developing a marketing strategy - primarily leading up to the SWFM start date 12/4
-Writing press releases
-Reaching out to local organizations, newspapers, and businesses to promote the market
-Creating new marketing content
-Advertising via list serve, newsletters, etc.
-Suggest and implement marketing strategies to maximize audience engagement and reach

The SWFM is providing affordable, local, healthy food access to our community. This is directly addressing the impacts of food insecurity caused by COVID-19.

Description

The Center for the Arts at the Armory is an award-winning organization whick transformed an historic armory into a community arts center. Recognizing that arts can bridge cultural, class and generational devides in our society, Arts at the Armory showcases visual and literary arts and features dance, theater and musical performances. We also offer art education classes. Through executing our mission and vision, Arts at the Armory creates life-long opportunities for children, youth and adults to learn and celebrate the meaning of art in their lives.
