As a Fundraising Volunteer for Programs Supporting Returning Citizens, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide educational, vocational, and rehabilitation initiatives that empower individuals as they reintegrate into society. Your commitment will make a direct impact on breaking down barriers and fostering a positive environment for these individuals to thrive. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with our fundraising team to brainstorm and execute creative fundraising ideas and campaigns. - Reach out to your network, local businesses, and community organizations to seek financial support for our programs. - Assist in organizing and promoting fundraising events, such as benefit concerts, charity runs, or donation drives. - Utilize social media and other digital platforms to raise awareness about our cause and engage potential donors. - Contribute to crafting compelling stories and content that highlight the success stories of returning citizens in our programs. - Engage with donors, express gratitude for their support, and keep them updated on the impact of their contributions. - Participate in volunteer meetings, sharing insights and suggestions to continuously improve our fundraising efforts. Qualifications: - Strong passion for social justice and reintegration of returning citizens. - Excellent communication and networking skills. - Creative thinker with the ability to generate new fundraising ideas. - Comfortable using social media and digital tools for outreach. - Reliable, committed, and able to meet deadlines. - Empathetic and respectful towards diverse populations.
