ORGANIZATION: CROWNED INTERNATIONAL

Crowned International is looking for an experienced minority female leader for the role of board vice president to lead the organization in strategic planning.
In consultation with the executive director and board members, the board vice president will set short- and long-term goals to ensure the organization is mission-centered and outcome-oriented.

  • Must have extensive professional experience with significant executive leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector.
  • Demonstrated success as a nonprofit board member or board chair.
  • Must be a person of the Christian faith that will support our mission, vision and values.
  • Must have a track record of building credibility in the funding community that has resulted in major gifts to a nonprofit.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with natural affinity for public speaking.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of women of color. Board member must live in the state of New Jersey.
