Snack Shopper Position Overview

Once or twice a month shop for the food and supplies that will be used for snacks that week.

Essential Job Functions

  • Once or twice a month you would be responsible for shopping for ingredients and supplies that will be needed for snacks that week.
  • You will be provided with a weekly shopping list.
  • Food must be delivered to the site by Monday at 2:30pm and organized on the shelves and fridge.

Expectations

  • The snack shopper must have a Costco membership.
  • We ask that snack shoppers will be reimbursed with a check that we mail to your house.
  • When dropping off the food please fill out a reimbursement form and leave the original receipt. We will send you a reimbursement check within 2 weeks.
  • The food must be purchased at one time and organized in the kitchen no later than Monday by 2:30pm.

Important Reminders

  • Please place perishable items in the fridge and packaged items in the cabinet.
  • Please purchase the same brand of items listed on the shopping list if possible.
  • If you have to make a substitution for an item, please notify the volunteer coordinator. and make sure the item you get is the same quantity as the original item.
