Digital Instructional Designer volunteers with animal welfare experience needed
Best Friends Animal Society is on a mission to end the killing of cats and dogs in America's shelters by 2025.
Our Learning Advancement team is looking for volunteers to play a key role in building learning experiences for animal welfare movers and shakers all across the United States to buoy up our foundation of leaders to help Save Them All and make getting to no-kill by 2025 a reality.
Volunteers are needed to design, develop, and evaluate online content for Best Friends and individuals associated with rescue, shelters and other organizations; translate content provided from experts into an effective, outcome-based learning experience and create concise, engaging, audience-specific, and scalable content.
Degree or experience in instructional design with a degree or relevant experience in education preferred. Any experience with content authoring tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline is a plus. For this volunteer role, Articulate products are the authoring tool of choice.
Experience (paid or volunteer) in the animal welfare non-profit world preferred as volunteers will be creating content collaboratively with subject matter experts in areas such as fundraising, adoptions, volunteer programs, foster programs, shelter management, etc.
