Responsibilities And What You Will Do:
- Monitor the fun and entertaining Slack channels to interact and encourage volunteers to engage with one another
- Compile, create and share content such as polls, memes and thought-provoking posts within the channels on a regular and consistent basis
- Brainstorm and survey the interests of other volunteers to create channels that peak interest
- Utilize the department calendar within Asana to pre-plan all Slack postings for supervisory review and approval
- Review 'social circles’ protocol and manage monthly gatherings within Slack Channels
- Attend organizational bi-weekly calls and team bi-weekly calls and provide project updates to the Department Manager
- Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of ARO in alignment with its values of compassion, empathy, expertise, confidentiality, integrity, enlightenment, courage, and loyalty
- Work effectively & efficiently individually and in collaboration as a member of a team
- Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
- Working knowledge of engagement and team building
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Creative outlook
- Willingness to mentor and be mentored
- Working knowledge of Zoom meetings, Slack and Asana preferred
