Catana, an Everglades Angels Dog, will be losing her foster home due to no fault of her own. Before going to foster a few months ago, Catana had spent her time in a kennel since she was rescued on 5/12/19 with 9 puppies living under a condemned house. She has made great strides during her time in a home, but not in the ability to leash and walk her. Therefore, a fenced in yard is a must. We do not know what happened in her life for her fear of the leash to be so extreme, we try not to even imagine. Catana is great with other dogs and loves kitties; she is shy with people though. We are so distraught over the thought of her going back to a kennel. We need the village to pull together to help Catana. Our mission is to end the suffering of thousands of abandoned pet dogs, feral and breeding packs of dogs, by physical rescue & rehoming. Our organization is unique because our dedication to the truly in need, with no shelter, food and basic chance of survival. We seek out the tortured, sick and debilitated dogs, in the most remote areas of the everglades in Florida.
Description
We are a 100% all-volunteer, nonprofit, non-kill organization. Volunteers help socialize the dogs with fun playtime and walks. We also need help with fundraising, adoption and awareness events.
