ORGANIZATION: We Connect The Dots

We are looking to collaborate with a digital marketing professional/organization to deliver foundational level content around digital marketing with our UpSkill program participants (out of school youth ages 18-24).

Digital marketing content to include (but not limited to): optimizing a brand's online presence and website, leveraging social media and contact markeing to help your target audience find you. Plus, learn how to develop an email marketing plan, get started with video marketing, and create easy-to-understand marketing reports that help you assess your progress. This is a virtual opportunity volunteer experience. You will be joining and delivering your talk and presentation to the students using Microsoft Teams, our meeting and collaborating platform.

Guest trainers will join us May 26, 2022 for 5 hours beginning 9am -3:45pm ET (including lunch and 2 breaks). All programs are delivered on ET.

The UpSkill Program is intended for participants who seek an overall understanding of computer concepts, a detailed overview of basic computer skills, understanding of the internet, basic digital citizenship competencies, basic user security and soft skills.

Description

The skills needed to succeed in todays complicated work environments challenge employers to find the resources with the right skills to be successful. We Connect The Dots will provide the necessary work skills needed for students to build strong careers in STEAM roles. By engaging in a partnership with communities, industry leaders, students and teachers, we will reduce the number of jobs that are filled by students outside the US. Creating a greater awareness to parents and students of the career possibilities and the skills necessary to succeed. Through an accelerated program and project based learning students will gain the experience that matches todays real world careers.
