1 in 3 Floridians are affected by arthritis, including over 16,000 children in the state! We are looking for a committee members to assist in planning the 2023 Walk to Cure Arthritis in Jacksonville! The Walk is the flagship event for the Arthritis Foundation and held every May (during Arthritis Awareness Month). Volunteers on the committee can assist with a variety of areas including, event planning & coordination, securing in-kind donations, marketing & promotions, silent auction, kid's activities, team & sponsor recruitment & stewardship, and more.
Meetings are held monthly for one hour with a virtual option. Join a wonderful group of volunteers who are helping the arthritis community! Please contact Mariel Armitage at marmitage@arthritis.org to learn more.
