The Arthritis Foundation in Orlando, Florida is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer leader who can partner with staff, and help lead a volunteer committee, to ensure a fantastic year for the Arthritis Foundation's Walk to Cure Arthritis! The Event Chair will assist with leading of team of volunteer committee members to ensure a successful event, focusing on event planning & logistics and helping the event to reach fundraising goals.
The ideal person (or persons for co-chairs) would be willing to commit several hours a month between now and the event in April of 2023. The committee meetings will be held once per month with a virtual option.
The Walk to Cure Arthritis is the flagship event for the Arthritis Foundation and is hosted every May during Arthritis Awareness Month. For more information please contact marmitage@arthritis.org.
