ORGANIZATION: SourcePoint: Thrive after 55

Volunteers are needed about 7 times a year for "special" deliveries of meals intended to be saved for holidays or program closures. All routes are in Delaware County. The time frame is about 12-4pm.

Meal drivers receive a free meal and optional reimbursement ($.56 per mile) for mileage driven.

During this time, volunteers are practicing "no contact" delivery. Meals are loaded into the volunteer's vehicle via a drive thru line and there is no entering of client homes. Empty coolers are returned to SourcePoint and unloaded from the vehicle for the volunteer.

SourcePoint is your primary source of professional expertise, services, and programs for Delaware County adults who want to thrive after 55. We can point you in the right direction by providing direct assistance as well as referrals.

We provide community support with in-home care services such as Meals On Wheels, help with chores, and transportation to medical appointments, as well as resources and support for family caregivers.

We are also your source for both fun and fitness -- our 44,000-square-foot enrichment center hosts a wide variety of programs and trips.
