Loving Care Senior Services needs assistance in finding grants that our organization is eligible for so that we're able to expand our business. The volunteer will spend a few hours per week researching grants through different avenues and providing us with what they find, and possibly assisting in the application process.

Founded by Lisa Height-Gross in September of 2009, Loving Care Senior Services has been providing care for nearly 12 years to seniors in the community who need help with daily activities in their homes.
The mission of Loving Care is to provide ideal solutions for seniors who need assistance with daily activities, while focusing on individual wellness and encouraging continued independence. The staff is full of caring and compassionate individuals who have a passion for what they do, enabling the organization to provide excellent quality of care to those who need it.
Loving Care offers a wide range of services including hygiene assistance, cleaning, meal planning and cooking, medication reminders, shopping, and more. Over time, Loving Care realized that the need for these services went beyond just seniors and soon started providing the same services to children and adults, as well as seniors.
Loving Care is based in Calvert County, but provides services to clients in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties.
In addition to working with clients, Loving Care has developed a well-known presence in the community and provides trainings not only to staff, but to others as well. CPR and First Aid training is available virtually, and Certified Medication Technician classes presented by their delegating nurse are available in-person.
