If you have the heart and you are willing to make weekly visits to provide encouragement and support for the families who have terminally ill family members, call the Gentiva Hospice Manager of Volunteer Services at 409-924-0085 or email mitzi.taggart@gentiva.com to learn more about the gift of hospice volunteering. Families with terminally ill members often need additional support. While our doctors, nurses, aides, chaplains and social workers take care of the big things, caregivers sometimes just need someone like a volunteer to listen to their stories which puts our Volunteers at the very heart of hospice service.

Description
Gentiva Odyssey Hospice is a hospice agency serving the Southeast Texas area. There are two offices: Beaumont and Jasper.
Care is provided by a team of skilled, compassionate people, including hospice physicans, nurses, medical social workers, hospice aides, spiritual care coordinators, and volunteers--very special people who dedicate their time to a truly noble cause.
