Traditions Health Hospice of Newport News is experiencing phenomenal growth in the Williamsburg, Virginia area. We are seeking Friendly Visitor volunteers to spend quality one-on-one time with our patients in the Williamsburg/James City County community. As a volunteer with Traditions Health Hospice of Newport News, Virginia, your training will take place in our Newport News office. You will need to submit to a background check and a TB screen or chest x-ray at no cost to you. While it is hoped that you can spend a minimum of five hours a month with your patient, we are willing to accept whatever time commitment you can offer.

Please note that when visiting our office or visiting with your patient, observance of all COVID protocols including handwashing or sanitizing, social distancing and mask wearing is required.
