MercyOne Hospice is seeking volunteers to help in the day to day operations of it's home team and hospice house. Always wanted to give back to hospice, but patient care/interaction isn't in your wheelhouse? Volunteer opportunities are available in many different areas: receptionist, screening visitors to our facility, housekeeping, scanning files, building admit packets, and crafts such as making angels or blankets. Thinking you may want a future career in a medical office/reception? Come work alongside our Team Coordinators and gain skills needed to position you as a top candidate for a future career as a medical receptionist. We have two locations: Our hospice house in Johnston, IA and our downtown office in Des Moines, IA.
