Are you ready to turn your compassion into action? As a Disaster Casework volunteer, you will connect directly with people affected by disasters big and small to help take the next steps in their recovery journey. Red Cross volunteers support the recovery process of disaster-affected individuals, households, and communities by providing advocacy, referrals and financial assistance using our case management system.

One of our top priorities is the health and safety of our employees, volunteers, blood donors and recipients, and the people we serve. In addition to following CDC recommendations, the Red Cross continues to implement many safety precautions including vaccine requirements, masks, enhanced cleaning procedures and encouraging social distancing. *Note: this does not apply where contrary to current state or local regulations
