Wilkes Barre Clothing Distribution
Help distribute clothing to the poor and homeless of the Wilkes Barre area.

Why do we need a Sorting Team?

  • Because we want to take care of what we are given.

How will the Sorting Team serve?

  • They are excellent: They perform their tasks in an excellent way.
  • They have a positive perspective: They have a tough job but they understand it matters.
  • They have a helpful mindset: They are always ready to pitch in.

What will the Sorting Team do?

  • Clothes Sorting:
  • Carry clothing, crates, and totes from the first to the second floor.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and do steps.
  • Fold and sort clothing according to sex.
  • Help organize distribution room.
  • Food Sorting
  • Sort and store away donated food.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and do steps.
  • Help organize distribution room.
  • Schedule
  • Schedule varies depending on volunteer schedule and will be confirmed with the Operations Director.
