In the Winter we open up multiple locations for warming centers to help our homeless neighbors stay out of the cold. We have a 14 passenger van for transporting clients and supplies that gets a lot of use in these months. We need a volunteer who can keep the van fueled and cleaned and take it in for routine maintenance.
If you are interested in running clients to appointments in the van as well, we do have volunteer shuttle drivers.
Please start the process of becoming a general volunteer at the link on this site https://www.annarborshelter.org/volunteer
Duties include:
Weekly attendance (2 times per week)
Refueling the van
Checking fluids
Monthly wash/vacuum at a full service car wash
