We are continuing to build our Board of Trustees and Community Advisory Board. It is our desire to connect with individuals who are genuinely interested in unencumbered, volunteer leadership opportunities as a member of either of these respective bodies. Non-profit board experience is preferred, but not required.

The chief responsibility of our board is governance, policy guidance, and ensuring the fiscal and financial stability of the organization which includes fundraising. The Board of Trustees meets at least four (4) times per year.

These meetings are held at the end of each quarter and scheduled up to one (1) year in advance. All members are expected to actively serve on at least two (2) standing committees, which meet as needed prior to quarterly general body meetings. One board term is Two (2) years.

New members coming onto the board serve the first year as a Pro-Temp board member. Upon completion of the Pro-Temp year, the member is voted to continue the remaining two years. A member upon re-election may serve consecutive terms based on productivity in membership.

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) meets at least quarterly. One term is two years and any continuation is based on productivity.

It is of grave importance that persons expressing interest be familiar with the tenants of good leadership. It would greatly assist this process to receive a response regarding interest as soon as possible.
