At Legacy Hospice, we are firm believers that our patients and their families come first to provide excellent care during this transitional period of time in life’s journey.
We are currently seeking for volunteers to provide spiritual guidance and comfort to our patients. These visits will be one on one with patients who will greatly benefit from a spiritual visit in providing hope and guidance through prayer and comfort. We serve patients and their families throughout theMilwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Dodge, Walworth, Racine, Kenosha county and surrounding areas. We are able to provide a flexible schedule dependent on the volunteers availability and proximity of available locations.

Description
The company was started after we put our heads together and realized we had to find a better way to provide Hospice care. One of our biggest frustrations is the "corporate environment", in which hospice companies take care of patients. Everyone started to become a "cookie cutter" type of patient, whose care did not get the individual treatment and unique management that we believed was required to achieve the best care possible. At Legacy Hospice we recognize the unique legacy that each individual person has and how it is so intertwined with who that person is and who their families are. We never take this information for granted and we labor to position ourselves as an integral part of the patient’s family that gives support and insight to the true essence of who the patient is and how he or she wants to journey towards the end of life. We at Legacy Hospice ask ourselves daily, just how we would take care of our own family, and make sure we translate this idealism to our entire staff and support a culture of true care and compassion that would stand against the rigors of healthcare services today.
