Are you interested in local history? Serve as a docent with the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum!

Docents are the Museum's lifeblood! They are volunteer educators who work closely with school children, the community, and Museum staff. Docents can specialize in many areas of the Museum and are encouraged to serve where they have passion! Docents receive thorough training and are involved with tours, classroom presentations, outreach, and museum programming.

Description

The San Joaquin County Historical Museum reveals the rich heritage of the region, from the Miwok and Yokuts Indians, to the development of modern agriculture and to Charles Weber - the founder of Stockton and the first farmer in the area.
