Here at Habitat for Humanity DuPage & Chicago South Suburbs, we look for passionate people who believe in our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

We need a self-starter individual committed to working hard and producing moving and compelling blog posts using their passion for writing. Our ideal candidate is personable, responsible, enthusiastic, and flexible, and committed to working hard. If you want to play an integral role in educating the community and changing more lives, here is your opportunity to do so.

You will need to determine themes for given months, i.e., this month (May) is Affordable Housing Month. The blog should include topics that address affordable housing, volunteering, neighborhood revitalization, housing equality, furniture upcycling, etc.

The writer must be a self-starter with a passion for our cause, have writing samples and experience, and write moving stories on topics of interest to people seeking resources and exciting insights about Habitat for Humanity, stories, and available resources. Their writing must be compelling, causing people to come back for more to get popular and draw an audience.
