Are you interested in giving back to local children? Are you passionate about education and youth? Yates Elementary has a valuable opportunity for you!
Unfortunately, all of our students have experienced some sort of learning loss due to the pandemic and remote learning. In an effort to bridge this learning gap, Richard Yates Elementary has implemented a daily tutoring program for students. We are seeking high school and adult volunteers to provide academic support to elementary-aged students during an after-school program. Volunteers would engage students in math and literacy tutoring, as well as academic activities.
Note: This is an ongoing opportunity, we are seeking committed volunteers.
