Tutors help learners succeed

If you can read and write, you can change a life. Help adults in the community learn to read, write and communicate better in English.... Help somebody achieve their personal goal like; filling out a job application, becoming a citizen or reading a book to their child.... Change a life. Be a Tutor!

Becoming a tutor is easy. After a brief online orientation you will be eligible to take 2- 3 hour tutor training sessions. After satisfactorily completing training you will be ready to work with your adult learner; once a week for at least one hour for one year.

Although in-person tutoring has resumed, those volunteer/learner pairs that wish to meet virtually may continue to do so. Anyone who is unvaccinated is required to be masked while inside the library.
