Cyle is a nonprofit run and organized by current Ohio Wesleyan University Students. OUr aim is to break the cycle between homelessness and poverty in the community. We are focussing on adding donation sites and will be introducing very specific volunteer events soon.
At this time we are looking for the following:
CYCLE Ambassadors: strong supporters who will help us share our message and mission through social media and other marketing sources.
Leadership Team: We have open positions within our leadership team- the group that makes the big decisions! If managing a non-profit is something that interests you, this position would be a great fit. (You do not need to be an OWU student)
Donation Locations: Businesses, Schools, Public Buildings, Residential Complexes, Malls, and other high pedestrian volume areas are ideal for being CYCLE donation locations. If you would like to get involved with our mission by becoming a donation location- you would receive a donation box and we would arrange a pickup schedule. (Practically, doing all the work!)
We are open to ideas: please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you are interested in getting involved in any area of our organization.

Description
Introducing: CYCLE, a nonprofit organization aiming to break the cycle against homelessness and poverty.
We will focus on three common principles:
1. 'Upcycle' our new clothing recycling program- that we will organize and manage to allow volunteers to donate any clothing and shoe items they may otherwise discard.
2. Education & Awareness: a program where a group of our trained volunteers will raise awareness about homelessness and poverty in schools and other public areas while also teaching and explaining the benefits of community service.
3. Sustainable-Permanent Housing Solutions: Our ultimate goal and solution to homelessness is housing. With the help of our community and resources, we would like to design and develop permanent housing solutions across the U.S.
