As a multi-service medical clinic on Hilton Head Island, Volunteers in Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join the team as a volunteer.
The position entails looking at charts (paper and system) and making sure they match. Assist in record clean-up utilizing Athena software. Knowledge of Athena is preferred but not required but qualified applicants must have some EMR experience and be computer savvy.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Athena or another EMR
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Fast Learner
- Strong background using computers/technology
