My husband Luis and I created SoulPhamm, a sports and arts program for kids in New York and New Jersey. The goal of SoulPhamm is to create engaging and unique competitive and performing experiences for young people. In January, 2021 Luis, my partner and very best friend, died suddenly and although the loss hurts, I am compelled to open SoulPhamm and now dedicate it to his memory. But I need help!
We are looking for individuals to join our administrative team as event coordinators. Your main job would be to help me celebrate the life of my husband and the reach of this organization through annual and special events (that we hope to be pulled off by June, 2022). The events are-
1. The Ruey Classic - A Memorial Basketball Game to be held on June 25, 2022
2. SoulPhamm Soiree - An Annual Fundraising Gala to be held at some point in September/October 2022
3. Soul2Soul - An Annual Day of Giving to be held at some point before the 2022 Holiday Season
4. Movie Premiere - A documentary is being completed on our organization and we want to plan a screening/fundraiser.
You will have a team of parents, Board members and other volunteers to do the local footwork as needed, but we will lean on you to set the framework and the timeline for what should happen for each event. This work can be done remotely at a schedule that you'll set for yourself. You will meet with the administrative team monthly (generally a 6pm or 7pm EST start for one hour) over Zoom.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
