Research Coordinator
ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS
Please visit the new page to apply.
My husband Luis and I created SoulPhamm, a sports and arts program for kids in New York and New Jersey. The goal of SoulPhamm is to create engaging and unique competitive and performing experiences for young people. In January, 2021 Luis, my partner and very best friend, died suddenly and although the loss hurts, I am compelled to open SoulPhamm and now dedicate it to his memory. But I need help!
We are looking for individuals to join our administrative team as research coordinators.
Research coordinators are responsible for helping us build robust contact lists of political leaders, celebrities, nonprofit organizations and media in New York, New Jersey and eventually Nigeria. They will also help us develop a "stats" book filled with important statistics as it relates to youth and education, sports, arts, mental health, community service, health/wellness and more. With this information, we will be able to build grants and other programs and the findings could influence the development of future programs down the road.
If you are in a state where you think a SoulPhamm division would be helpful to the youth, you could research things in your community that would be helpful for us to know as we think about expansion.
Your work is completely virtual. You will meet with the administrative team monthly (generally a 6pm or 7pm EST start for one hour) over Zoom to hear program needs and progress. You will be directed on what to search for, so specific experience as a researcher is not required.
Interested candidates should respond with a short note telling us about themselves. You can learn more about SoulPhamm and Coach Luis at www.soulphamm.org. No phone calls please. Thanks for your interest!
