The Youth Achievement Program is looking for volunteer tutors to work with young adults aged 16 to 24 years old, on Pre-High School Equivalency subjects.
When:
Mondays - Thursdays 9:30am - 10:45 am. Come one day a week or more as your schedule allows.
What:
Since our students are preparing to earn their high school equivalency credential, tutors are needed in the following areas:
Reading
Writing

Description
The DLC provides direct individual and small group instruction in reading, writing, English language, and computer skills to adults and families seeking to improve their education and/or move toward economic self-suffiency. We partner with a number of social service, health, education, and workforce-related organizations and agencies to meet the diverse needs of the Durham community.
