Drivers to Homebound Seniors

ORGANIZATION: MEALS ON WHEELS OF THE MONTEREY PENINSULA INC

Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula has increased since Covid-19.
Over 350 meals are delivered daily Monday through Friday to homebound seniors.

This opportunity allows a driver to interact with a client once a day. For many of these clients,
this could be the only interaction they have with another person the entire day.

This opportunity is a wonderful "wellness check" with the clients, who depend on the food delivered.

Our nutritious food which is made fresh in our kitchen daily, is delivered by 30 different drivers each and every day.

For those that wish to give back to their community, it is a perfect way to interact with a population who can't be forgotten.

1 Shift

  • morning / 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM
    Time frame for food pick up can be 9 to 10. Delivery is between 10 and noon depending on route size.
