WE are having an adoption and awareness booth at the Apple Butter Festival. Volunteers will help with the booth by selling merchandise, selling raffle tickets, answering questions, and helping out with the dogs. Helping out with the dogs entails walking them around, giving them food and water, cleaning up after them, and supervising the publics interactions with the dogs.

Mission Statement
ODAS is a no-kill shelter dedicated to preserving the life and health of homeless cats and dogs, providing shelter, food and veterinary care while fostering their social skills and facilitating their adoption into loving homes.
Description
Open Door Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1975 by Joan Costello and Carol Perkins, and is now one of the largest no-kill shelters in the area! Our mission is to provide homeless cats and dogs with the highest quality of life and a chance at finding a forever home. We care for roughly 350 animals every day. We have several programs that benefit our community, including low-cost spay & neuter, a Pet Food Pantry, and Seniors-for-Seniors. Our volunteers are an essential part of the well-being and socialization of our animals here at Open Door.
