We are looking for volunteers to help facilitate MovementWise classes at our senior apartments. MovementWise is a dance and discussion series designed to explore creativity and engage minds. You will help with setup before class and assist the teaching artists as needed. Activities include gentle movement, dance history, and sharing personal dance experiences.

Classes take place Wednesdays and Thursdays through November 18 from 12:30 pm-2:30 pm. We will have a discussion session each Wednesday and dance each Thursday! If you enjoy dance and making new friends, reach out today.

We currently require volunteers to be vaccinated for COVID and to wear a mask while volunteering. To get started, we'll ask you to complete an application, virtual orientation, and a background screen (required for working with vulnerable adults). Application link:

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
