We are down to the last 3 days before our deadline. Healthy Choice Enterprise is asking each of our volunteers to help us to gather 5 (or more) 13 gallon size bags of gently used soft goods (See our list of what we are able and not able to collect) from neighbors and friends to help our charity with items for donation. We have Volunteer Confirmation Letters for you & a tax receipt for each of your donors. We will collect your donations at Public Storage 1204 S Valley View, 89102 on Wednesday 10/13/21. Please call and let us know that you are coming or bags can be left at the managers door.

HCE’s mission is to provide information, products, services, and resources to our community for improved health and education. We saw that our children were lacking basic education in the areas of physical, mental, social, and academic health, then we developed and implemented the "L.A.U.N.C.H. Program" - Learning and Understanding Necessary Choices to supplement our children’s learning.

The goal of L.A.U.N.C.H. is to improve the foundation necessary for physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and academically balanced children ages 6 years old to 16 years old. The soft goods donations will help equip the supplies and learning materials needed for our L.A.U.N.C.H. Program.

Soft Goods means:

  • clothing- any gently used men's, women's, children’s clothing
  • shoes- all types
  • accessories-hats, mittens, scarves, ties, nylons, socks, underwear
  • personal accessories- purses, wallets, fanny packs, bags
  • bed and bath items - towels, sheets, blankets, pillows
  • curtains, tablecloths

The Do Not Accept List

  • garbage or trash
  • water damaged or moldy items
  • encyclopedias
  • make-up and personal toiletries
  • weapons- firearms, explosives, ammunition, flares, etc.
  • hazardous materials- batteries, paints, chemicals, cleaning products, poisons, etc.
  • flammable products- including any items that operate on or contain fuel.

We are happy with all and anything you can collect. Thank you for your time and donations. Please share the information, We need all of the donations that we can collect. Our goal is 650, please help us make it happen.

Healthy Choice Enterprise, Inc. (HCE), is a professional not for profit organization formed to provide health, fitness, and educational programs to the community. Our goal is to reduce obesity, sedentary lifestyles, and apathy in seeking healthcare. We work to enhance the quality of youth and adult lives by providing practical health education and fitness events, thereby increasing community betterment. HCE programs include health and wellness fair events, weekly adult dance exercise classes taught in the form of "Chicago Style Steppin" and "Shuffle", the bi-weekly "Ask Nurse Z" internet radio talk show, monthly dance exercise workshops taught by our resident instructor: Z Toney and Guest Instructors, and our Annual Dinner and Dance Gala.

The organization was founded by Zakeeyaw Toney, RN a United States Air Force Veteran, an Aerobic and Fitness Instructor for 29 years and a Registered Nurse for 23 years, who works as the program developer and Chief Operating Officer. Zakeeyaw developed the programs and has worked to find professionals to help implement them. Our programs include Community Health and Wellness Fairs, weekly dance exercise classes, the bi-weekly "Ask Nurse Z" internet radio talk show, monthly dance exercise workshops, and our Annual Dinner Dance Gala. Through our programs we address some of peoples greatest needs for Health Information, Physical Conditioning, Stress Management, Positive Social Interaction, and Physical Exercise in the form of dancing.
