If you've clicked on this opportunity, you are our kind of superhero. We put the "roots" in grassroots. The "non" in nonprofit. But by some miracle, we have still maintained to continue creating a future worth fighting for. Our need is simple, we need to create and sustain a digital presence that reflects the dynamic work we do. We would like to use our digital presence for three purposes:
1) Recruit Ward 8 youth to participate in our trauma-informed programs.
2) Inform Ward 8 parents and commUNITY parents about trauma-informed approaches and responsive parenting techniques.
3) Identify digital donors to help keep our doors open.
It's really that simple.

The Future Foundation's mission is to empower and activate Ward 8's youth (called future adults) and their families by centering a social-emotional approach to achieving social justice. Our future adults master advocacy, community organizing, and resource development skills required to create a future worth fighting for.
Description
Since 2012, TFF has empowered Ward 8 youth to proactively address the trauma themselves, their families, and communities experience. Our trauma-informed programs led by our future adults address the social issues they are most impacted by and promote individual, family, and community wellness. Youth organizers design, lead and facilitate our organizing models with the support of their peers and our adult staff & volunteers.
