We are looking for warm compassionate volunteers to make check-in/tuck-in calls to our patients/families to make sure they have everything they need!
Volunteers use a 'call script’ to make weekly check-in phone calls on all new and existing hospice patients.
- A 'to-be-called’ list will be generated weekly by the Volunteer Coordinator.
- The Volunteer will call the patient and read the appropriate script based on the amount of days the patient has been on service.
- If the patient has been on service 7 days or less, the volunteer would read the script for Check-in calls.
- If the patient has been on service 8 days or more, the volunteer would read the script for Tuck-in calls.
