High school student looking for volunteer hours? College student looking for volunteer hours or experience with patients? Going into the medical field and want experience with hospice? Retired and looking for volunteer opportunities?
Caris is looking for compassionate individuals to provide companionship to hospice patients. Visits can look like- sitting by their bedside talking with them, reading them a book, watching TV or a movie with them, painting their nails, playing cards, sitting by their bedside while they sleep, etc.
It is important to have socialization and companionship in the end of life, these visits are so very special and mean so much to the patients and their families.
