Thank you for your interest in The Citizen Project. The goal of our nonprofit is to represent residents and ensure their concerns are addressed.
We are looking for Project Managers that will play a pivotal role in leading technology projects. This individual will be expected to holistically lead the charge for project implementation by utilizing a hybrid approach leveraging AGILE (Scrum) and Waterfall Methodologies to deliver projects to completion
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with a diverse set of team members to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals specified by key stakeholders or project sponsors.
- Manages the entire project lifecycle including initiation, scheduling, estimation, capacity planning, scoping, control, monthly initiative status reporting, etc.
- Develops project or release plan for larger, cross-functional initiatives and drive the project team to deliver on commitments
- 5+ Years of Project Management experience.
- Ability to manage projects with high complexity.
- Well-organized, with attention to detail, and self-motivated.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable multi-tasking on many projects at one time and work effectively to complete them

The goal of The Citizen Project, a 501(c)3, is to provide a platform for NYC residents to interact with their government and community leaders to help solve their problems. This will be accomplished by gathering and evaluating the information on issues faced by citizens and working collectively to develop a public policy proposal and action plan to address the problem.
