We Are Beautiful, Inc. empowers individuals and family members impacted by the criminal justice system to develop confidence and prioritize mental health through educational resources and mentorship. Looking ahead we would like to provide mental health resources for all people.

We are currently seeking to fill the following Executive Board Members positions:

President/ Chairman-The chair of the board holds the highest rank of the board and often serves as the president of the organization. This individual must have strong leadership abilities, as they are responsible for governing large teams of people. They run board meetings, appoint committees, and perform other duties as directed by the bylaws. The chair of the board works collaboratively with the CEO or executive director to shape the culture of an organization or company. They represent the organization in public by giving speeches and attending events on behalf of the organization.

Vice President/ Vice Chairman-The vice-chair serves directly under the board's chair, who they support in performing their duties and responsibilities. The vice-chair needs to successfully perform the chair's responsibilities because they take on the role of the acting chair during periods when the chair is absent. They work closely with the chair and CEO to assist with carrying out any directives, establishing agendas for board meetings, and supervising formal assessments of the board of directors. They may also be asked to handle conflicts of interest that may arise within the board of directors.

The secretary-The board secretary is responsible for several administrative- and communication-related tasks in addition to regulatory and legal compliance. The primary duties of the board secretary include recording, documenting, and distributing meeting minutes, which is a record of the discussion and any votes that take place. They're responsible for ensuring the safekeeping and accuracy of these records. The board secretary also keeps track of the organization's activities to ensure all actions are in accordance with their bylaws. They are often responsible for notifying members and stakeholders of all regularly scheduled and special meetings.

Treasurer- A treasurer should have a solid working knowledge of accounting. They typically prepare financial reports for each meeting that include information about the company's viability and stability. These reports need to be clear and concise to help inform any of the board's decisions. Treasurers also manage public funds, which includes making important decisions regarding spending and investing. They work closely with other company executives to obtain drafts of the annual budget for board approval.

Board members-They often volunteer to serve as the head of committees. They attend meetings, where they can make motions and discuss and vote on board matters. After serving as board members, they might be elected to serve in a more advanced role on the board of directors.
