ORGANIZATION: KEEP TEMPE BEAUTIFUL

Join Keep Tempe Beautiful on Saturday, November 13th to help build our community through sustainable gardening.

Community Leaders will be presenting each month at 11 am at the garden on a different topic.

This month’s topic is: Composting Workshop

Here is more information on what we will be working on:

Escalante Community Garden (Located behind the Escalante Community Center at 2150 E. Orange St)

o Learn about Gardening

o Moving Dirt

o Painting Beds

o Clearing Weeds

No need to bring tools; however, gloves, hats, and drinking water are recommended. Your time slot will start and end on time; we won’t ask you to stay longer.

Keep Tempe Beautiful is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer-run organization committed to inspiring and educating the community to take action in making Tempe a clean, green, and beautiful place to live.

Our vision is to keep Tempe a vibrant city where each neighborhood is a healthy, beautiful place to live, work and play.

We have three major goals: end littering, improve recycling, and beautification of our city.
