Pierpont Elementary School needs your help to revamp our garden! When we went on quarantine in March of 2020, we lost most of our plants that summer due to lack of watering and upkeep. Then, the garden sat for a year and more plants died or are in serious need of care. Would you and your group of friends be willing to come in and help us? We would love to make this into a safe outdoor space for learning (its safer to learn outside!). The garden needs dead plants removed, leaves and debris raked out, some plants and shrubs pruned, the soil turned for new plantings, our existing (unsafe) garden boxes replaced (we already have the wood forms), a small drip system installed and possibly some light painting of some wood pieces. Please contact me if you can come on Sunday, February 27th from 9-12pm. Thank you in advance (the kids thank you too!)
