For more than half a century, St. Vincent's Health System Volunteers have lovingly handsewn Christmas stockings for newborns - large enough for the baby to "wear home." Christmas stocking assembly takes time and skill to complete.
If you are a seamstress and would like to learn how your skills could help support this ministry or know someone who might be interested in serving on this committee, please call Dianne Guthrie at 205-939-7186 or email dianne.guthrie@ascension.org.
Kits containing detailed instructions on how to assemble stockings as well as supplies are available. Additional kits may be requested. Please note, this project can be completed at home.

Description
St. Vincent’s Foundation raises funds to support new programs, education, equipment, technology, and capital expansion across St. Vincent’s Health System. We also address the special needs of patients and family members who trust their health care to St. Vincent’s. As a donor, you have the opportunity to express appreciation for the care you have received and to extend care to those less fortunate. Through the generosity of donors to St. Vincent’s Foundation, the health system is able to offer comfort where it is needed most.
